His selected achievements include:
Director Business Enterprise with Starcomms Plc. Responsible for the revamp of Starcomms’s existing and future products and services. Launched the 1st cloud computing product with projected revenue of $1m a year over the next 3 yrs. Programme Director for Vodafone Global Enterprise (VGE) responsible for delivering £7.8m of incremental revenue within 3 months of migrating MNC accounts from the local Operating Companies into VGE.
Programme Director for BT Tel-Consult responsible for delivering a major mobile operator’s convergence strategy. Managed the creation of a B2B business by integrating two fixed line telcos into a mobile network in Nigeria to create an Enterprise Business aimed at corporate customers. Projected billed revenue in the first 2 yrs of launch to reach $60m and a service improvement of 80%.
Head Of BT Retail Business Change responsible for the delivery of new products and services to cater for new markets; Products launched include BT Mobile (BT’s MVNO after the sale of BT Cellnet), BT Fusion (1st Converged Fixed/Mobile product in the UK), BT Vision (BT’s TV over BB), Mobile Address Book Back Up (1st client based mobile back up technology).
Head Of Business Development Logica UK Telecoms responsible for developing and implementing a 2yr account strategy into a leading telecommunication operator by understanding its long term plan and matching the gaps in their strategy against the strengths and solutions offered by Logica. This resulted in £20m worth of new business for the firm.
His key responsibilities at BT Global Services include, but not limited to; Primary point of contact for the MTN Sponsors and Steering committee and to ensure that the project deliverables are aligned with MTN Nigeria strategy; Prepare a detailed project deployment plan, and get agreement on that plan from the MTN project director; Track change management (scope changes); Guide quality management Track project costs.
At various times he was Head of business Change for BT Retail. He was the Business Change lead on various cutting edge technologies/Products including ‘GO Messenger’ a BT and Sony VOIP proposition on the PSP, BT Fusion the first mobile proposition that also works on a fixed line, BT Vision which brings TV to customers over broadband and a host of other products in the convergence space.
Also, he was the Head of Business Development, Logica Telcoms Uk and was responsible for developing overall account proposition, products and solutions for the BT Account. He was at different times a senior business analyst, analyst and operations manager at T-mobile (one2one), British Gas Trading and London Electricity Plc respectively.
He has an MSc: Information Systems and Technology and a BA (Hons): Political Economy. His training include; Solution Selling; Strategic Account Management Advanced Presentation Skills; CRM (Siebel), Billing (Geneva & Amdocs) and Network & Service Management; SSADM, Visio, SOA & RAD; Project Management using the PRINCE Methodology; Process Improvement using the PRISM Methodology; Advanced Facilitation Skills; Change Management
